GIBSON ES-120T 1966 Sunburst

1966 Gibson ES-120T

Arched maple top, molded black pickguard, f hole, Mahogany sides and neck, 14/20 fret, 3 per side tuners, single coil melody maker pickup, Sunburst finish.

Guitar has finish checking which is common on these older guitars.  All electronics work great.  Has some dings and nicks and a little wear on the back from clothing rubbing.  Somebody has added strap button on back of neck.  There is a small crack in plastic by input jack.

The body and neck are solid.  There are 2 areas that caught my eye.  There appears to be a little crack where neck meets headstock that has been glued.  It doesnt appear to go all the way across, so I don't believe it was a broken headstock just maybe something preventive.  There is all an unfinished line where fretboard meets the body on the right side.  Again, it doesn't appear any significant repair happened, so I don't  know if that was a manufacturing thing or if something was done.  It is all very solid so without knowing the history before we owned it, I cant be certain.

Neck plays really nice.  There is some flattening under strings of first few frets.  It doesn't affect playability.  Buyer would probably want to get a fret dressing in the next few years.

The guitar comes with a hard shell aftermarket case.
