I'm fairly surprised this great guitar hasn't sold. I Really need to sell this before the New Year and an upcoming move. Make me an offer!
— please note, this was made by Tim Schroeder of Schroeder Amplification. Not Jason Schroeder. —
Up for sale is my Schroeder Mark 1 guitar. This guitar was built by Tim Schroeder or Schroeder Amp fame.
I messaged him earlier this year and he confirmed it was his MK1 or Mark1 model and it was made September of '96. He also noted it was the 9th built of that model out of about 10-12 made. This was the one Goldtop made.
The guitar has a really nice feel to it. It’s a Gibson scale length. Features a compound radius that gives it a really fast feel and able to be set up with nice low action.
The pickups are Seymour Duncan SH1’s. The two mini toggles are independent coil tap switches for each pickup. The other controls are a standard 3 way toggle, master volume, and master tone.
The guitar is in good cosmetic shape. Admittedly it look fantastic in the sunlight. I have added two indoor pictures that reveal some of the more typical play wear the guitar has like pickguard scratches and the condition of the metal parts. The main thing to note is a small ding on the headstock (pictured). As well, there is a maple shim in the neck pocket. You can see this in the last two photos. It is actually where Tim signed the guitar so there’s a good chance it’s original or at least implemented by him
