This is a reliable, rugged four track recorder that runs at 7 1/2 or 15 IPS. Great sound quality and low noise floor. Has option to patch in an external noise reduction unit. 

I purchased this Tascam 22-4 in 2007 and I have maintained it since, including new drive and counter belts in 2016, and a full calibration and lubrication in 2019. It has seen relatively low hours since then.

There is also another 22-4 included in this sale as a parts machine. It is not operational but includes a set of tape heads, audio cards, motors, knob, and many other hard to find parts. These parts are invaluable for keeping decks like this running. 

If you don't want the parts machine I am open to offers for just the main (excellent condition) machine. 

I prefer local pick-up as shipping one or both units will be expensive, and they are fragile devices. I will consider shipping as long as it is covered in full by the buyer.
