Gibson Blueshawk 1996 Ebony

This Blueshawk plays like butter, is quiet as heck plugged in on a clean fender deluxe reverb, set up with NYXL 9-42’s. All original except new truss Rod cover. Slight finish checking though out, some minor hazing at the arm rest and back of neck joint area, could be cleaned up with a buffing wheel but I didn’t go there. This guitar sounds just amazing, varitone switch works and functions. These are extremely rare now a days and this one has been played for years but loved as well. I got this one in rough shape cleaning wise because it had been put away for years but set it up great with low action and light strings; fitting for the scale length. Neck is in great condition, relief is the same on both sides. Truss Rod functions great and no adjustments were needed when it was set up. I only loosened and then tightened it to make sure it functioned and then left it in the same position. This guitar overall is in amazing shape for its age. First year production and this is the best price on reverb right now. This one comes with a new Gibson Gig bag in brown with two backpack straps as pictured.
