Same model as the one I'm playing in the your tube.. This was a popular model in the mid 80's and sold between 1984 and 1987 when the Fender System One Tremolo was installed.  To me the best bridge ever designed and built for Fender by Schaller/Germany... When the recession really hit home and CBS was no longer after 1985, the budget cuts caused Schaller to build a yet smaller version of the System One to the System Two, and then another cut brought the System 3 which is a Chrome plated bridge and didn't use a through the body string mount but a clip and ball type.. These mid 80's Models known as the Super Strats or Strat pluses because of the Humbucker at the bridge with two single coil Gotoh Japan pickups, which were Alnico not Ceramic Pick ups and read the same as the Fender USA pickups on your meter.. These models with the FS1 Tremolo rocked the new music scene of the mid to late 1980's with the heavy metal groups for they're huge amount of sustain and dive bombing capabilities without the guitar going out of tune in the process.. Hugely do to the Sys one locking nut with 6 clamping plates and roller saddles that didn't allow the strings to stop movement when the bar was used.  Like I said very highly sought after guitars and only now as prices on these are soaring do to collectability because of not only the Fender History and almost demise of the Fender Company under the CBS regime, but the salvation of the company do to the steadfast workmanship and the help of Leo Fender releasing parts he wasn't using stored in his warehouse while he was doing G&L.  I thought that pretty cool of Leo but after all his name was on the Labels.  He said the Japanese were doing a better job assembling the new Fender guitars better then he could have ever.  The Japanese were very acclaimed at that time in the 1980's and were making out all over from cars to cameras to watches.. Everyone owned a Nikon camera, a Seiko watch and driving a Toyota to there gigs with a Fender MIJ with a Rolland or Yamaha amp or mixing board.. dare ya to say it wasn't so.  And still today with the poor making of 2nd and 3rd world country Fender guitars many polished musicians are seeking everything from vintage to these renowned famous guitars that saved the Fender legacy.  Check out the sounds and playability in the You Tube.. watch papatom act like a nut but enjoying every minute of it.. When I bought my first 1982 Squire JV I didn't have a clue where this was going until I bought my first 1986er Fender MIJ Strat Plus with FS1 bridge.  My lead playing doubled immediately with it's easy to handle D profile thinner neck with a wider 12 inch radius and floating bridge that allowed me to dive bomb without breaking the cheap bars and those S saddle bridges.  I can't count how many whammy bar ends I use to have to dig out of my bridges back in the late 60's and 70's when I was rockin.  Back then you had to order a bar, your mom and pop music store didn't have a stock of them and big conglomerate retail Sam Ashes and GC's weren't in existence yet, unless you went to Manny's in NYC which latter became Sam Ash.
About this guitar, selling it very affordable took it in with a decent price and priced to sell.  The only non original part is the Stainless Steel bar that came with it and has already compromised the bar socket so I'm not going to waste an expensive original Chrome bar that will only drive the price up.  Everything else is Savvy.  The fine tuners are all good the bridge works as it should, a small amount of ware on the rollers but plenty of rock on life left, you can always visit my web site for repairs if you do ever need them, I'm the only site on the net that sells and carries all the Fender System One Original Parts, I don't sell cheap garage or basement hand Lathe run offs that are not sized right or will corrupt your bridge and bar socket. Everything on this guitar including the electronic has all been checked out and the guitar has been cleaned and inspected other then the bar is 100% Fender mid 80's MIJ with Fender System One Tremolo including the locking nut with all the original plates.. here me play the same model in the you tube, they all have the same feel and playing action.  Out of refurbishing hundreds of these guitars after almost 30 years the double graphite truss rod has never frozen, got stuck and even after long periods of time with the neck being in an inward bow position would go to Straight as an arrow with the truss rod moving like butter both was.. These are amazing necks.. Even the Fender MIJ 80's Squire necks especially the earlier A and SQ series Squire necks which some like on the Dakota's are 60's RI Leo stock and are great playing and very easy to adjust.  For price sake a brand new Fender gig bag is included in price..Shipping USPS  rock on.
