1981 Guild S65-D Natural (S-65D) w/ OCBC (S-65 D)

Up for sale is a super bad 1981 Guild S65-D in very good condition and perfect working order. We just gave it a pro set up with 10-46 gauge strings so it plays amazingly with a straight neck, low action and the original DiMarzio humbucking pickup sounds killer! And you rarely see these single pickup models come up for sale. There were only made for a couple of years.

Cosmetically, this instrument is really clean and has been well taken care of over the years. That said, it has been played and exhibits some of the typical signs of use such as: there are some tiny dings scattered, chips, swirl marks, finish checking and some light scratches. Also, around the tuning machines on the front of the headstock, there’s some finish flaking that’s happened over the years. The original frets look great still with the slightest hint of visible wear on frets 1-3 under the plain strings. See pics for condition. Overall, this axe is well kept, super fun to play and on point. A true 80s shred machine! Comes with the original soft case. The guitar weighs 8lbs 1.4oz. The nut width is 1.62”. The neck thickness is .820” at the 1st fret and .900” at the 12th fret.
