About This Listing

The AMISTAR brand was founded in 1997 in the Czech Republic and the production was around 100-120 pieces per year. This is a brand of "boutique" guitars, with high-end materials, wonderful electronics (the Duotone) excellent workmanship and amazing tone. AMISTAR is among the best resonator guitar brands you can get today and the quality of workmanship, materials and parts is amazing for the price.
This Tri Cone sounds as good as it sounds. The fairly light brass body has a nickel finish with beautiful floral engravings all over the body. This fantastic sounding instrument comes with AMISTAR's Duotone pickup system. This gives you a Piezo for a pure, more realistic Tri-Cone sound and a mini humbucker that brings the guitar into a more modern, heavy bluesy tone. Not to mention that this instrument is perfectly tuned and the craftsmanship is some of the best you can get in that style. It is in excellent general condition but has some scratches on the back of the neck and a slight depression on the edge of the top (see photos) which in any case does not affect its appearance or functionality.
