Ed Roman custom guards are a fortune folks and his store in Las Vegas is legendary for its custom PICKGAURDS. The neck near the tuners had some top wood splinter which effects nothing but how it looks. It was just surface stuff around tuners. It was filled with a little wood filler. This guitar is so cool and has a relic vibe. All fender licensed parts. Just setup with 10s. The "ED ROMAN" guards are super expensive.
