Active Bartolini pickups with a built-in EQ get you a variety of tones. Only a slight play wear: most notably there is an indentation above the bridge pickup that formed using that spot as a thumb rest. It is not deep, but it is noticeable. The pics actually make it look worse than it seems in real life.
Hardwear is gold. Action is great in my opinion but you should consider a setup for yourself. 24 frets and the oval inlays are a nice touch.
