Paul's guitar is a special instrument in the PRS line. Previously, it was only available as a higher end model, but Paul Reed Smith decided it was time to get this guitar into the SE line??without compromising integrity. The SE Paul's Guitar features Awesome SE Series build, Paul's signature specs, and a high-end electronics setup. This guitar is for players who want to own a piece of Paul's legacy, without spending a fortunate. Awesome SE Series BuildPRS SE guitars have always been surprisingly high quality. They often only slightly differ from the high end PRS models, which is why Paul knew he could successfully bring his guitar to the line. The body of this guitar is made from mahogany, with a carved figured maple top. The classy wood aesthetic is quintessential PRS. The wide-fat neck is also cut from mahogany and sports a 25" scale length, with a rosewood fretboard sporting 22 frets.Paul's Signature SpecsThe specs of this guitar were designed to make it highly playable and just plain cool looking. The tail is a simplistic and functional PRS Stoptail with brass inserts. On the other end are PRS-designed tuners. All the hardware is nickel. The lower cutaway features a smooth bevel to help you comfortably get all the way up the neck. Paul's Guitar also showcases the beautiful and elegant bird inlays which adorn so many PRS models.  High-End Electronics SetupThe SE Paul's Guitar sports unique and powerful electronics. Its foundation is dual TCI "S" humbuckers at the neck and bridge, with a three-way pickup selector. In addition, it's got two mini-toggle switches assigned to each pickup, which set them into a true single-coil mode, adding a sweet vintage voice to these commanding humbuckers.
