Great guitar from Yamaha which came out along side the SG range in 1981, this is the second one I`ve owned. It has Seymours replacing the original pups and the electronics are simplified with on/off switches for each pup, no phase switching. I did this because it was too easy to flip a switch with my flamboyant rhythm guitar style, good quality soft case included, superb neck, one piece, excellent guitar. These go for around 850GBP which is very cheap considering they were the same price as the SG2000 when they first appeared, this one is cheaper because I`ve changed the pups and simplified the electrics, thanks.
