The Sennheiser ME 2-II is an omnidirectional lav mic that works in tandem with a bodypack transmitter or XLR adapter. This great-sounding mic delivers a sharp, clean sound with high speech intelligibility. And it's the epitome of discreet — clip it on and it's virtually invisible. If you're giving a presentation or inviting in presenters, the ME 2-II is an excellent lavalier microphone. The ME 2-II is compatible with the evolution wireless series, AVX, SpeechLine Digital Wireless, and XS Wireless.

The Rode VXLR+ adapter  lets you power your lab mic with phantom power. With the Rode adapter, 12V-48V power coming in through the XLR end is stepped down to 3V-5V "plug-in power" at the female 3.5mm TRS end. The 3.5mm TRS side also interfaces smoothly with the threaded locking connector on the ME 2-II microphone, establishing a solid XLR connection for confident recording into a digital interface or XLR input recorder.  This make a nice setup for podcasting or interviews.
