1958 Sano Colombo HiFi baby B15N tube combo

Crazy rare and great sounding 1958 Sano 30 watt all tube combo branded for Colombo. All original except new filter caps and upgraded power cord, including all premium RCA tubes in preamp and power section, super sounding gold Utah Alnico PA15R 15" speaker, and swampy bias modulating tremolo. I made one small (easily reversible) mod to allow you to choose negative or no negative feedback - which has the effect of increasing gain and presence when disengaged. At stock setting, there is more headroom and punch. The amp sounds fantastic for guitar but also makes a super bass or keyboard amp for studio or mic'd stage settings. It also has a stereophonic input, so if you have a 1/4" mono to stereo splitter you and can blend the two preamp sections for tone shaping. The clean ptp wiring and circuit topology shares much in common with Ampeg bass amps of the same era including the original B15N. Takes pedals well and since it's cathode biased can also run 6V6's in the output with a 5Y3 rectifier for lower output and blues tones. Dimensions are 20.5" wide x 19" high x 11.5" deep. Includes original victoria canvas cover which is also in good shape. Some wear on back corners but overall in excellent condition for its age. Will ship with choice of USA RCA black plate 6L6's/5U4 or 6V6's/5Y3.
