A tribute build of a Jerry Donahue Signature Telecaster.
Warmoth 372, double-bound alder body. Custom 3-color sunburst (dark walnut, light cherry atop amber shellac) with light checking and rub marks to look played/cared for decades not abused ... not "road worn" beat up. Nitrocellulose lacquer top coats polished to a gloss finish.
Warmoth Deluxe Telecaster Boatneck with a 10"-16" compound radius. Roasted Maple. This is a one piece maple neck with a 1-11/16" bone nut, ebony inlay dots, and SS6230 fret wire (narrow, low, stainless steel).
A 920D Custom TMAS-B control plate. Gretsch Filter'Tron neck pickup with a Fender Pure Vintage '64 Tele bridge pickup. Volume-Volume-Tone and traditional 3-way Tele-switch.
Fender American Vintage tuners, bridge plate, steel saddles and bridge cover. 920D Custom gold control plate and knurled knobs. Generic white 3-ply pick guard. Black barrel switch tip. Nickels placed under saddles to enhance attack and overtones.
No case at sale price. A good condition SKB TSA-002 telecaster case (small crack in ABS at end of case).
