1971 JBL Paragon D44000 Speaker

You know what this is, the most expensive speaker cabinet ever made!  
The Paragon is a horn-loaded, stereo speaker system within a single 9-foot-wide (2.7 m) housing. It is based on a diffusion principle developed by Richard Ranger as consultant to JBL. Features mid-century styling with sculpted legs, rich wood, and compression horns. The speaker was recently acquired from a retired couple. It has had two owners.

Measurements (approx.): 9' long (needs 10' for air space) 34" tall, 25" deep. Unit weighs around 900lbs. 

Condition: Speaker is in working condition and has been reasonably tested. There is wear on the wood cabinet and some damage to the top. Comes with letter of provenance and manual. Sold AS IS.
