SUNN 412s 1970-1975

I bought this from my guitar teacher in Houston, Texas in 1990.  I suspect he was the original owner.  Since then, it has been babied and used sparingly in my smoke free, pet free homes and always stored in a climate controlled environment.  It has 3 of the original Sunn Transducers with aluminum dust caps (I suspect these are eminence speakers) and has had one speaker replaced with what appears to be an eminence speaker (big square sandwiched magnet).  It sounds absolutely unreal when powered by my 1973 Bassman 100 head.

The cabinet is rated at 4 ohms and 240 watts with an input and  output jack on the rear.  The tolex is in excellent shape.  It bears some marks from use and age with one very small nick on the left side of the second picture (bottom of the cabinet).  There is also a small tear in the tolex on the rear of the cabinet (this could easily be glued down and wouldn't be noticeable) (last picture).  The grill cloth is absolutely immaculate and has the original tag with the Sunn emblem and "Bobby's Music City," a shop that was somewhere near Denver, I believe.  The original casters were replaced with some heavier duty casters by the previous owner.  They are inset a little from the original mounting location.  There are rubber feet on the side.  I always used the casters to move it around and tipped it over to the feet when in use for ultimate stability.

I will also ship the cabinet, but only to the continental United States.  I have worked shipping quotes to most major cities around the continental U.S. and the $100 price is an extremely close approximation of actual cost for packing and shipping this cabinet.
