Make room for new gear in minutes.The SB59 is Eastman's take on the ultimate vintage style single cut with specs and a build quality that are mind blowing at this price point. For those who do not like artificial aging on new guitars, the "regular" SB59 will be the most appealing of them all, as the vintage nitro and antique varnish finished guitars have an aged, raw appearance.
The SB59 is made with a single piece Mahogany body, a solid, carved flamed maple top, one piece mahogany neck, ebony board and a pair of Seymour Duncan Classic 59's. The topcoat is nitrocellulose, which might age a bit in time, but most of all; it does not seal the tone wood the way a poly-urethane does and therefor, with a nitro finish, the wood will be able to vibrate optimally.
All hardware is by Gotoh, pot's and switch by CTS and Switchcraft and the Frets are by Jescar. Those are some serious hi-end specs -with equal sound, playability and detailing- at a medium level price point. No-brainer!
