Purist, pure, telegenic. This is the SL50 from Slick Guitars. A ideal punk rock instrument. Solid as a Rock. The theme of this guitar: Revolution!!! As starting point I used a Slick Guitars SL50. The Slick
guitars are very puristic, have a narrow varnish and are therefore ideal as a starting point for my work. Classic
T-style, the bridge pickup has really nice bite. The neck is as always rather leisurely to work. And the intermediate position nasens and offers a third good sound variation. No guitarist needs more! 🙂 A great guitar becomes a unique specimen that stands out from the crowd.
So if you are looking for a very special guitar that identifies you immediately as a punk rocker and gives you a unique tool at hand, then you've come to the right place.
Inspired by punk rock guitars like Joe Strummer's Tele, Billie Joe Armstrong's Strat or Thurston Moore's Jazzmaster, this guitat has been turned into a street art stencil guitar - the QNSTANG Revolution. The entire
guitar has a matte finish and is inherently aging. My stencils were applied directly and pure. Without clear coat. So it shows traces of handwork with the spray can: glue and not accurate stencil transitions. And that's exactly how it should be. Who wants a smooth licked guitar is wrong here! The guitar will get traces through your playing that will turn a unique guitar into YOUR unique guitar. Aging by Using!
The Revolution shows different hand cut stencils: Revolution, Rays, and Star, and on the back Skullcat, FCK NZS, and month of manufacture. All created by hand. There is no well - you either like it, or you don't!
