Spring Valve Retainer for Guitar and Valve Amplifier EL84 9 pin

This is a sprung valve retainer designed to hold 9 pin output valves such as the EL84 or 6P14 firmly in place where the amplifier is often transported from place to place, or where the valves are mounted hanging in a chassis upside down, such as in many combo guitar amplifiers.

These spring retainers are designed to be bolted to your existing 9 pin output valve socket mounting points in place of the original mounting ring, with the same nuts and bolts that hold the existing socket. If you already have this type of springy wire clip retainer and the clip has snapped or gone missing, you may be able to just change the actual spring clip and hook it into the existing mounting ring tabs.

This valve retainer stands 65mm tall overall, with the distance between the top of the socket to the top of the part of the clip holding the valve being 55mm unstretched.
