Here we have one of the most iconic drum sets that was made for one of the most iconic drummers of all time. This is a Ludwig Vistalite Acrylic drum kit referred to as the 'Zep Set' which faithfully recreates John Bonham's famous Amber kit which he played with Led Zeppelin between 1973 & 1975.

For this special reissue Ludwig have matched all of the specifications from the era making this set a completely authentic replication. Vistalite drums are produced to the highest construction standards with reinforced seams and crisp bearing edges for optimum shell integrity and tuning range.

The kit is finished in Amber and comes complete with a Ludwig LM402 snare drum which has a Blue and Olive badge to match the badges on the kit. All the drums come fitted with large Classic Lugs, both floor toms have Elite brackets and legs, the bass drum has Gold Sparkle Inlay bass drum hoops and curved modular bass drum spurs exactly like Bonham's kit! Both the bass drum and 14" tom are virgin with no mounting brackets, an Atlas snare drum stand is also included with the package to hold the 14 x 10 tom.

The LM402 offered with the Bonham kit is the original smooth shell 402 design. These drums are lots of fun to play and incredibly quick and easy to get a top flight sound out of.

Ludwig have recently added further improvements to the 402 such as the Plating and Snare throw off which make this latest generation of 402's the best yet. Unlike LM402's offered separately for sale with the Keystone badge, the 402 offered with this kit has the matching Blue and Olive badge to make it era correct.
