Super rare vintage instrument, sold by Gibson (the guitar company) in the late 60s or early 70s. Made by the Chicago Musical Instrument Co.
It has reeds just like a Wurlitzer 200a and sounds sort of like a cross between a Rhodes and Wurlitzer. The feel of the plastic keys is not quite as nice as a Rhodes or Wurlitzer, but the sound is comparable. I would say the bass sound on this is even better than a Wurlitzer, it's more pure to make for a nice full bass tone, whereas the wurlitzer is more overtoned and growly.
Everything working great, fully service and sounding wonderful.
Aesthetically there are some chips in the wood laminate, pictured. It may or may not be missing the front legs? Works fine without them.
The size is smaller than a regular piano, and way lighter, can be moved easily with two people, it's not nearly as heavy as an apartment sized acoustic piano. It's 41" long, 37" high and 18" deep.
For pick up in Ottawa near experimental farm (feel free to come try it), or I may consider personal delivery to Montreal or Toronto.
