Kazuo Sato Prelude 2007

Renowned Japanese luthier Kazuo Sato has been making high quality classical guitars in his workshop in Saarland, Germany for several decades now.  

This particular guitar, rarely seen on the second hand market,  is a striking example with a spruce top, rosewood back and sides, a Spanish cedar neck which looks very similar to mahogany, ebony fingerboard and gold tuning pegs with black buttons. These elements combined create a classical guitar that appears refined yet fierce.  

The sound is deep, resonant and very responsive to nuanced righthand technique. Exacting German and Japanese craftsmanship combine to create a superb, stylish instrument!

There is some discoloration near the sound hole where a pickguard film was present, some light wear/color loss on the top of the guitar and smallscratches on the back at the upper bout. See photos for reference. The frets are in great shape and the guitar is fully functional and plays beautifully.

 A semi-hard case as shown in the photos is included.
