For sale is a Danelectro ‘59 DC, one of the 2001 re-issues, in black sparkle.
This was my main guitar for a about 7 years. It is in pretty good shape, but has the slight finish scratching expected for a players guitar. The electronics are in good working order and the lipstick pickups sound great clean or with overdrive. The frets are in good shape, as is the fretboard. Hardware and electronics are all original, except for the strap buttons, which have been replaced with Grover quick release strap-locks.
The edge tape is coming up a bit where the upper horn meets the neck pocket. There is also a small dent in the pickguard. Both of these imperfections are pictured.
Overall, this guitar has a lot of life left in it and still plays well and sounds great.
