If you have any interest in a great playing/sounding example of an original OM, this is the one. I have disclosed all repairs, but I guarantee it's firing on all cylinders.. This is a stellar sounding  OM. I have played a bunch of them, and this delivers -- super dry, yet airy, with tight bass, along with the complex resonance that only comes with old wood, scalloped bracing, and its classic super light build. Extraordinary fingerpicking guitar, but also takes a pick well.  You know the specs -- 25 1/2 " scale, 1 3/4 " original nut, original bar frets broken in, and playing well. Soft shallow V neck, very comfortable and a pleasure to play. Original large guard and end pin. It has had some repairs over the years including a top crack, side rim crack repair, some kind of impact repair on bottom bass side, back cracks repaired. There's probably some spray on the top, but the rest of the finish black lights correctly. Evidence of a trapeze tailpiece on bottom. All are stable and the work was done professionally. One of the tuning keys has been glued to the stem, but it all works fine. Recent repairs by David Eichelbaum are, as follows: Remove and reset neck with shim. Repair previously repaired neck block shift to align rosette and broken top sections. Added small cross grain patch underneath to stabilize area. Removed and shimmed bar frets, level and crown. Shim original ebony nut. Replacement belly bridge with saddle. Added thin maple veneer to broken bridge plate. New antique acoustic pins. It's now playing very well. This is still a visually attractive guitar, even though its had its share of attention in its 90 years on earth. These old guitars are superior, even as player grade. Serial is 506_ _. Comes with a '70's Martin thermoplastic case. If you have more questions, and want more photos, let me know. I also do zoom demos. Thanks for looking.
