Up for sale is a rare, early 1920as Weissenborn Style 1 Hawaiian acoustic square neck lap guitar in its original natural finish. Early production noted by the label with Herman's photo on it. This handmade instrument features a koa body and fingerboard. Overall in excellent condition for its age and sounds wonderful. The finish has crystalized in areas which is common for early Weissenborn instruments. Center seam separation has been glued and the bridge was re-glued at some point. Comes complete with its original canvas "trap door" soft case. Weighs 2 pounds 10 ounces.
