This USA Custom Pork Pie 6.5 x 14 snare boasts a unique Cherry / Okoume 8-Ply hybrid shell that offers a very versatile and warm vintage sound similar to Cherry/Poplar. Okoume is very similar to Poplar, hence a vintage sounding drum, but with warmer sound and a wider tuning range than typical Cherry ply snares.

This snare is yet another example of the master craftsmanship of the Pork Pie artisans. Hand sanded bearing edges, great hardware and a very nice natural satin fade finish compliment this outstanding instrument.

As shown in the last pic, this snare was custom built new for me on 7/29/20. It has never left my smoke-free home studio. As shown, it is in truly mint like-new all original condition, including Remo Ambassador batter and reso heads. The only reason I am selling this beauty is I have too many snares and this baby deserves a worthy home.
