Vintage 1986 Kramer Nightswan Lightning Graphic Electric Guitar w/ Original Case! Vivian Campbell, Floyd Rose!

Up for sale is this vintage 1986 Kramer Nightswan electric guitar. This is a very rare example of a very rare model and they seldom hit the market.

This instrument is all original. The original graphic finish shows wear, including some small dings and light cracking which is common on these. There is a fairly significant amount of damage around the volume knob (pictured), but the wood is stable and the knob doesn't move. The original hardware shows wear and pitting.

This instrument has just been gone over by our tech who cleaned it up, polished the frets/oiled the fretboard, installed a fresh set of strings, sprayed out the electronics, adjusted the truss rod, and adjusted the Floyd Rose. The instrument plays great with comfortable, low action. There is some fret wear, which includes some divoting on the first few frets, but they still have most of their life left in them.

The only notable issue with the instrument other than the damage around the volume knob is that we have found it to have a weak bridge pickup. It does work, but has noticeably lower output than the neck pickup.

The original hardshell case is included and, cosmetically, is in nice condition. It seems to have spent a lot of time in an unconditioned space and has a strong pet odor to it. We have shampoo'd the lining a few times and gotten probably fifty percent of the odor out, but it still persists strongly. All of the hinges and latches work as they should and the case is sturdy. We currently have it baking in the sun and will spray it out a few more times before it ships out, but it will probably arrive pretty smelly, just a full disclosure (we believe in being 100% transparent about such things).

Overall, it's not a perfect example, but it plays great and you likely won't see another one hit the market for a while so don't miss out!
