Warmoth Jazzmaster body w/ universal rout set up for 22.5" scale Fender neck

A while ago I bought a pile of special order Warmoth stuff from a guy’s leftover stash. Among it all was a Jazzmaster body with so called “swimming pool’ rout, known as ‘universal rout" in Warmoth terms.  So any pickups will go in. It was unfinished and I had it done in red.

This body came from Warmoth not drilled for a bridge. I used it with an old 22.5” scale Fender Musicmaster neck. An Allparts Duo Sonic bridge was placed in correct position for intonation, just where it would be if it were a Duo Sonic body.  Weighs 4-1/2 pounds.

It comes with a guard cut for my preferred pickup scene, a Stratbucker in neck, and regular Gibson bucker in bridge. Single coils are just a dead issue with me .

Of course it will work for longer scale neck but you will have to have a pro re-locate further back  and fill the holes. But if you like the 22.5” scale Fender scene, this gives you a ready to go body where you can use any pickup combination you want.

Added pix of what it looks like w/ neck on but OF COURSE you understand by buying this-- it is just the body, pickguard and bridge you are getting. Note there no strap buttons on the body.

So if ya have an old 1956-1963 22.5" scale Fender neck and honk it on this body then you something pretty cool to use with whatever pickups you want although you would have to get a custom guard made from one of several sources.

I am putting it out for even less than what the finish job cost.  Thanks and all, etc. but please hold the lowball and tweaky trade offers-- I am already taking a big hit on this.
