RARE!! Yamaha 20th Anniversary Recording Custom drum set in Sunburst Lacquer, made in the mid-90's in Japan. Japanese birch shells consisting of 10x12, 11x13 rack toms, 16x16 floor tom, 16x22 bass drum, and 6.5x14 matching snare. There were about 100 of these kits made in the mid-90's to commemorate the introduction (mid-70's) of one of the most revered and recorded sets Yamaha made. The drums are in fantastic condition with very little wear outside of some typical wear on the bass drum hoops and a few small, minor nicks in the finish on the bass drum (see pics). All original parts, original edges, AND original front bass drum head. The finish is a gorgeous vibrant sunburst with beautiful grain showing through. Deep cherry red finish on the interior. These are THE drums from Yamaha! A tight punch unlike any other kit makes these ideal for recording. Comes with a mixed set of bags, cases. Check out the sound file! (C)
