The Boss SG-1 Slow Gear was designed to give guitarists a "violin touch". The SG-1 produces a volume swell that automatically ramps up the input volume (much like the volume knob on a guitar or a volume pedal).
The SG-1 have become one of the most desirable and collectable Boss pedals due to their unique effect and short production run.
Made in 1979 (batch 8400) which makes it a very early SG-1. Good used cosmetic condition as pictured. Has the momentary LED and silver screw.
