Rare, one-of-a-kind Boxer PJ-535 Jazz Bass made by some customer's demand in 1985. This is so-cal "Order Made" custom version of Jazz Bass Special, it features two piece sen ash body, hard maple neck (which is definetely tougher than a standard issue necks) and transparent finish. Like any Boxer of the era, it is light, agile, stylish and sharp sounding instrument. This very model have slanted P+J pickup configuration and medium scale (32") neck; it packs clearer and more focused tone in comparison with basswood 535s.
Condition is excellent. Technically A rank, no issues with playability at all! Cosmetics are good, there's however some scratches, dings and scuffs over the body and on the neck; a sticker tan is visible at the back of the body (please check photos).
The bass is fully set up to 1/16-5/64 inch (GDAE 1.5-1.5-1.8-1.8mm) action at 12..20th fret with minimal neck relief (0.10mm / 0.004 inch), you can lower the action at no cost! Please do not hesitate to contact me if got any questions. Can provide extra photos, video- and sound- samples if needed.
