Very cool banjo here! Shorter "A" scale length. This banjo is a LOT of fun to play, and has a great "old-time" sound. Made in Philadelphia, c. 1889. The metal clad rim also serves as it's tone ring. Obviously, there have been a few repairs during it's 130 years, including a replaced stick (which is why there are no markings on it), planetary tuners have been put on the headstock (5th string peg is friction), spike capos have been installed at the 7th and 9th frets and the head is now a Remo Fiberskyn one. Overall, this is in very good used condition. It comes with a gig bag.
