1997 Washburn AB-30 Acoustic/Electric Bass in natural with OHSC.

This is a beautiful, amazing sounding acoustic/electric bass.  We picked it up second-hand and since it's basically an acoustic guitar, we took it to our luthier for a full setup. Fortunately, it didn't need anything more than a truss rod adjustment and a new jack.  Action is nice and all electronics work perfectly.  The finish shows slight cracking at the input jack.  We understand this is typical for Washburns. But it doesn't affect playability or sound.  Other than that, there's hardly a mark on it. 

It has two pickups: one humbucker mid-body, and Washburn's Equis Gold piezo pickup under the bridge. Between the two pickups and mic'ing the unique sound hole, there are a lot of different sounds you can get out of it. 

There are 4 control knobs. One volume for each of the pickups, and separate bass and treble.

We put a set of .058-.110 Fender Tapewounds on it, and honestly, it's the closest we've ever gotten to an upright bass sound.  If you're doing an acoustic set, this is a great bass.  

The original cost of this beautiful bass in 1997 was $1249.  That's over $2000 in today's money.
