This Brook Taw was made in 2011 in Devonshire, England at the Brook workshop(). Simon, Andy, and Jack are meticulous when it comes to building some of the finest handcrafted instruments on the planet. I recently took delivery on a Brook Tamar, so it is time to move this little gem onto a new home. Special features include a four-piece back consisting of Vietnamese Rosewood and Tasmanian Blackwood. The Headstock inlay is a striking fire red Welsh Dragon which is enhanced by red diamonds on the fretboard. The rosette is a custom design utilizing Vietnamese Rosewood and Tasmanian Blackwood. This guitar has a very rich seductive earthy, Celtic sonic vibe. The slim neck, as only Brook can make them, is truly effortless to play. There are a few flaws like a little ding in the cedar top, and a few scratches on the back that are superficial and could be removed by a person skilled in such things.
