This vintage 1988 E series Fender Japan ‘62 reissue left handed Nirvana Tribute Strat has amazing sounding pickups: dual vintage Fender 60s reissue middle and neck pickups with authentic vintage Strat tone, and an upgraded Duncan JB JR (neck pickup) in the bridge position, for heavy grunge tone with lots of power. This is the same exact model of Kurt’s guitar (Fender Japan ST62L). This unique tribute is equipped with a single coil sized humbucker (to avoid routing this vintage guitar):

The 3-ply black made in USA pickguard is in relic condition on the solid Alder body with the original gloss black finish, with heavy relic arm wear and a finish chip on the lower bout. The original bridge has aged stamped Fender saddles with wide 2 7/32" vintage string spacing, and has been upgraded with a full depth Kluson tone block for enhanced tone.
The naturally tinted finish on the genuine Fender maple neck has aged gracefully, with RARE 12” rosewood fretboard radius, medium C profile with .84”/.91” thickness, 42.3mm original nut, and 21 vintage frets leveled, crowned, polished, and dressed, with naturally aged Gotoh tuners in excellent working condition.
It weighs a very light 7.58 lb, is a blast to play, and is a one of a kind tribute to the king of grunge.
