I am having mixed emotions selling my Gretsch G6120. It was my high school graduation present from my parents back in 1966. I had planned on leaving it to a friend of mine in my will, but he unexpectedly passed away a couple of months ago. After much thought I feel that now is the time to let it find another good home. I still play it a few times a year, but at the age of 73, and with no one to leave it to, I am parting ways with it. The guitar is in excellent condition, especially for its age. The finish has held up remarkedly well over the years thanks to the care I have given it. Of course there are some light scratches here and there, but there are only 3 tiny areas where the finish has come off. All of them are on the back, and I have included pictures pointing to each one so you can see how small they are. The neck is excellent with no dead spots or buzz anywhere. The electronics function like the day it was purchased. The gold hardware is also in great shape with very little loss of that gold shine. The original case is in very good condition with the wear that you would expect from a case this old. I still have the original key for the lock. All of the original documentation is included with the guitar. See the pictures to check it out. If you have any questions about my baby feel free to ask, it is a great guitar that I want to go to a home where it will be appreciated for what it is, a classic guitar made in the USA.
