About This Listing

Made in the USA in 2008, this axe is a tribute to the shredders made famous in the 80's. There a numerous dings in dents on the guitar that I tried to picture. In person you have to look for them as they don't jump out when glancing at it. The guitar plays extremely well and has very low action. Throwing in a Fender flight case to insure it arrives safely. Feel free to message with any questions.

Edit: The frets were slightly oxidized and looked funky when zooming in on the outside pics. I polished the wire (see last 2 pics showing the first 3 frets) and restrung the guitar with 9-42 elixer polywebs. They have very minimal wear with only the slightest indication of flattening where the crown is. I also removed a tremelo stabilizer that the previous owner installed. I forgot it was in there until I had to adjust the tension or I would have mentioned it in the initial post. I also added a foam sheet to keep the spring buzz to a minimum. Floyd springs can create weird overtones if not dampened when you pick aggressively. The tremelo still functions as it should and stays in tune. Again, if you have any questions feel free to message me. Thanks!

The So-Cal Style 1 HH is jammed-pack with high-performance specs and mods. The 25-1/2" scale alder body is crafted into the ultra-comfortable So-Cal shape and is mated to a 1-piece quartersawn maple neck. The compound radius (12"-16") fretboard is fleet and sweet for chording on the low end and extreme bending in the upper range of its 22 jumbo frets. The So-Cal is powered by a DiMarzio Evolution humbucker in the neck position and a DiMarzio Tone Zone in the bridge. Just as Eddie established in the '80s, all you need is a volume knob to control this beast. Grover Mini Rotomatics tuners and Floyd Rose FRT-O2000 double-locking tremolo maintain rock solid tuning even after the most vigorous whammy-workout.
