HAND WIRED 120WATT VALAVE HEAD

This Matamp was manufactured in February 1972 and shipped to Chris Stevens Music Centre in Southend on sea along with another amp. This amp was bought by a great known local guitarist called Mick Aldsworth,

who's band I ended up managing and recording for a while. About 25 years ago Mick decided he wanted a different amp and part exchanged it with me for something else. After I moved to the North of England over 20 years ago, I started to use the amp in a local rock band called The Chevrons, along with an Eminence 500watt 2x10 cab linked to a 600watt 2x10 ASS Gauss cab, awesome sound.

It was also used one night at The Forum in Billingham by my dear departed mate Eric Haydock (The original Hollies Bass Player) for bass in the Chip Hawkes Class of 64 band, as he had forgotten to bring his amp that night. After using it he insisted he wanted to buy it but I obviously declined.

I now do not play in the rock band anymore due to the usual Spinal Tap moment with one of the band members (new) girlfriend haha! Nuf said!

I have other 70's amps that I now use, so this needs to go to someone who will get some joy out of it.

THIS IS MY OWN PERSONAL HEAD THAT I HAVE OWNED FOR OVER 25YEARS. SO NO VAT.
