One of the finest playing vintage horns I've ever had; an Olds Ambassador from the LA factory is offered here. With original case and an Olds 3 mouthpiece, too. While (with the case and mouthpiece) a nice collectible, this is one horn I'd not be ashamed to take out and play in public. In fact, with the brass that Olds was using in the early '50's, this horn projects a lovely sound. Enjoy the vid and pics; they best describe this trumpet.
The valves show some wear but have good action, a good feel and nice compression. Third slide has functions well. There is a rough spot on the mouthpiece reciever; it poses no problem with a mouthpiece fit.
I travel heavily for work, and am often away from home 4 days a week. I'll ship upon my return, usually Friday or Saturday. If this poses a problem for you, please let me know.
