Early to mid-1960s Gibson pre-T-top humbucker. This has the patent number sticker on the back, but no T-tops on the bobbins. All vintage Gibson pickups are really moving up in price, especially PAF‘s. This is a way to get PAF tone at a cheaper price.
It has the standard pole piece spacing (not the narrower style for the jazz guitars). The original pole pieces are gold, but have largely faded on the top so they could be used with a “Nickel” look.
These pick ups were the same in the neck and in the bridge. Based on the lead length it looks like this was originally in the neck position but will work in both.
