These are wonderfully made guitars from Japanese company “Chaki” who is most famous for their orchestral instruments like double basses. It’s extremely well made and plays and sounds great! This one dates to the 1970’s when it’s likely that master luthier Tsuji Shiro had a hand in its construction. He has since started his own company S Tsuji which is renowned for their handmade Jazz archtop guitars costing $5000 and up.
This guitar is in very good overall condition with no cracks or repairs. Feature Grocer tuners that appear to be original. It does have some light corrosion on the hardware and minor scratches, see pictures. Ships in a heavily padded oversized gig bag.
