This is a rare find in North America. As the listing states it's a metallic red Charvel Dinky Thinline that I have left stock since I acquired it. The metallic red paint and HH setup remind me of Jack Butler aka Steve Vai's Jackson in the 1986's film that we all know Crossroads. Obviously unlike Jack Butler's Jackson it is a Thinline style body, sports a standard S style tremolo, the fretboard is made of rosewood, the pickups are made by Charvel and the headstock reads "Charvel by Jackson/Charvel." The CDT-80 and CDT-70 were built for the Japanese market in the early 90s and a few have made it across the oceans but, to this point, I have yet to see another metallic red one on the market. The guitar has a couple of paint nicks and three of the tuning machines are missing their gear cover plates but I have maintained them with proper lubrication and cleaning as to leave the guitar stock. I have a DiMarzio PAF Pro and Super Distortion set that I might be willing to install for a Jack Butler enthusiast if I receive the right offer, and can also include replacement Jackson branded chrome tuners at the buyer request too.
