Studer/Revox A77 MK II reel to reel, 4 track stereo recorder, 3 3/4 ips and 7 1/2 ips, 1/4” tape.
Completely serviced by a Pro Audio Service. Working as it should.
Completely gone through all electronics and replaced parts as needed, recapped, lubed, Deoxit, calibrated with MRL calibration tapes, biased for ATR tape, demagnetized, meters adjusted and tested. Counter belt replaced. Direct drive motors are in good condition, Heads did not need replacing, a lot of life left in them. Plug and play condition. Sounds excellent! Analog Sound!
This machine is built like a panther tank.
Cosmetically very few imperfections for it’s age. See photos.
Does not come with Reels or Silver NAB Hubs, just for photos. It comes with original Revox black NAB Hubs as shown in photo.
I have been playing some pre/recorded tapes on this machine and it sounds very rich and warm. Like analog should. Beautiful example of a vintage reel to reel. Built by Willi Studer, in Germany.
