EU Customers - we deliver your guitar with no extra import costs

Here for consideration, the top of the ‘Buffalo’ line, from esteemed Japanese guitar-farmer! - Yamaki.

Seriously though, these B-50’s were made in comparatively low numbers, and being the top model in the series sporting the unusual ‘Buffalo’ headstock, she has a pretty good spec, made to highest quality controls, solid spruce soundboard and rosewood body, Yamaki really knew how to build.

A 50,0000 Yen guitar of the day - which was a considerable few months wages for the majority of Japanese employees - these guitars are seldom seen for sale today, although there are a few examples online currently in various conditions, mostly in lesser condition for around the same price.

The well seasoned solid spruce soundboard is of a very good quality, and the interior construction is super clean, making for an experienced, balanced tone.

We supply the guitar to you in original, unrestored condition, hence there is some patina and reversible tarnishing to be seen on frets, case clasps, and suchlike, structure is very good with no cracks, no breaks and no repairs.

The original Yamaki tags are included (seriously rare to see) along with the decent quality original Japanese hard case which conceals a nice cache of jewels - a Japanese suede and woven silk vintage strap plus other authentic and cool case candy as pictured.

In overall, and subjectively excellent, condition for a 40+ year old there are some traces of use as pictured, described here for sale as ‘very good’ condition in accordance with Reverb guidelines.

Some light adjustments have been made here in the afterlife acoustics workshop to ensure optimum tone vs playability.

The action rests fairly easy at 3.5mm 12th fret and just under 1.5mm at 3rd fret.

A setup and restring may be required (please enquire for any additional setup options)

Otherwise this beauty is player ready, unusual and ethereal piece of Japanese craft from Yamaki.
