This Gretsch White Falcon 6169 is owned by Brian Setzer
There are blemishes and general scratches on the guitar from years of use. The paint on the back of the neck has worn down to the wood on certain parts. There are some parts of the headstock that appear to be pulling apart, most noticeably on the sides by the nut, as well as all around the headstock where the logo/veneer meets the headstock. There are also some small paint cracks in the paint right where the headstock meets the neck on the back of the guitar. These appear to only be surface paint cracks and do not compromise the neck at all. There is some buckle rash on the back of the guitar. The strap button has been removed from the heel of the neck and filled in at some point.
The gold flake trim appears to have been put on in reverse of what was the standard and you cant see it from the outside, but rather have to look at the right angle to see that it faces inward. This makes the trim look more of a normal metallic gold from the outside.
Other than the obvious cosmetic flaws with a guitar of this age, this guitar feels and plays GREAT! Its rare that you get a piece of this age that still holds up as a playable instrument and its very clear this was regularly set up and maintained. Electronics still function as intended and sound incredible. Super rare, SUPER awesome!
Due to the price of this instrument we are only shipping within the United States. Shipping is set to cover insurance as well as expedited shipping which is why it costs a bit more than your average shipping price for a guitar. If all expenses to cover insurance or shipping are less we will be more than happy to refund the difference.
All items in The Official Brian Setzer Reverb Shop ship fully insured with delivery confirmation and a signed and embossed Certificate Of Authenticity from Brian.
