We present to you this 1980 Dumble Overdrive Special OD50W serial number # 0080 formerly owned by Joe Bonamassa and Billy Joe Armstrong. The amp was made for a local musician Don Alvardo by Alexander Dumble. A part of Joe Bonamassa’s guitar touring rig for several years, this unit was a part of his Fender Twin/Dumble setup as displayed in the Guitarist #442 magazine issue from February of 2019 where Joe goes in detail how he used this unit while touring in 2018/2019 around the world. Joe changed the original EVH-12L speaker to a Celestion JB-85 speaker for better mid-range responds in combination with the Fender Twins. The original speaker is included with this amp. This unit has had the silicon goop removed, indicating that it was worked on in the past, but this unit is in full working order and would come to you as Joe Bonamassa used it to perform before his fans all over the world. A Certificate of Authenticity signed by Joe is included with this amp. These 50 watts version Dumble ODS combos rarely come up for sale, so this is chance to own a wonderful piece of rock guitar history and an excellent sounding amplifier used by two famous artists.
