Overview
The original Roc Jet featured a floating tailpiece and a pair of Gretsch's Super'Tron humbuckers, and came in a variety of finishes. Later in the Roc Jet run, the 7620 Country Roc combined the modern features of the Roc Jet with the Western aesthetic of the early '50s solid body models 6121 Chet Atkins, and 6130 Roundup.
The Roc Jet was updated in 1977 with new pickups and a new bridge style.
