Westone Thunder 1 bass guitar made in the Matsumoku factory in Japan in 1984. It is finished in red - not seen very often as most Thunder models have a natural or black finish.
It has a single split pickup with volume and tone controls - the knobs are in brass and so is the adjustable bridge/tailpiece and all in a superb condition. The neck is bolted on and the neckplate is stamped with the Westone logo as well as the words ''this is a Matsumoku product made in Japan''. There are twenty frets all in a good condition; and the headstock has the two on a side Westone tuners, the ''Westone'' name and the truss rod is stamped ''Thunder 1'' On the back of the headstock is the serial number dating this bass to 1984.
It is in a superb condition showing a few very tiny marks and a little light scratching on the back which is so slight they don't show up in photos. Its also a very nice bass to play and very rare to find in this condition and colour!
