Tokai is world famous for its quality and top notch craftsmanship inspired by fine vintage American guitars. This 2021 Tokai Love Rock embodies the finest features to honor the golden era, late 50's Gibson Les Paul "Bursts." It has kept true to the original classic design with incredible attention to detail while using the high quality materials.
This brown burst beauty continues the Japanese tradition that brought this style of guitar to its heights in the 1980's, and continues to keep Tokai's 'Love Rock' legend as popular as ever. This instrument is built with superior components, hardware and a deluxe vintage style finish. These guitars have the famous Gibson open book headstock that was created for the Japanese and European markets only. They were not intended for distribution in the United States because of the headstock copy.
It features a striking two-piece Maple top, a 2-piece Mahogany body, a one-piece Mahogany set neck, and a rosewood fingerboard. Tokai's PAF vintage Mk II humbucking pickups sound outstanding and have plenty of output while cleaning up nicely and offering warm, mellow vintage tones. There are vintage Kluson style tuners with green tulip buttons and a Tunomatic style bridge with stopbar tailpiece. It has a fast comfortable neck with a medium-rounded 50's profile and plays effortlessly. The violin brown burst finish is the spectacular and shows that this guitar was created to impress visually and sonically to both player and audience. It has just had a professional re-fret, so this beauty is ready to rock straight from the gig bag. This Tokai is in very good cosmetic condition with the back taking the hit on most of the bumps and bruises. These dings, dents and chips add character to this mojo monster and show just how much fun she is to play. The front remains relatively clean with only some fine surface scratches and scuffs near the bottom of the neck.It has just been professionally set up and dialed in for optimal playability and tone. It has low action with no buzzing or dead spots and is an absolute joy to play. It has been deep cleaned and detailed. All guitars will arrive looking and playing great. The frets have been dressed/polished and the fingerboard was cleaned. (Unfinished Rosewood and Ebony boards get treated with Fret Doctor - a proprietary all natural oil that is the best on the market) It was professionally set up and has brand new strings, the action was adjusted, the intonation is spot on and it plays excellent. All the electronics work flawlessly.

7 day return policy as per Reverb guidelines, BUT intentions of the return must be communicated in writing within 3 day of receiving the guitar as indicated by the tracking. Unless the guitar is not as described or damaged in shipping ORIGINAL/RETURN SHIPPING CHARGES WILL NOT BE REFUNDED AND THERE WILL BE A 12% RESTOCKING FEE. . The guitar MUST BE RETURNED IN THE EXACT CONDITION it was received or it is subject to a restocking fee. I am not a big chain shop, I hope you understand.
