NO, I WONT SPLIT UP THE LISTING SORRY

Pickup in NYC area greatly preferred.

This is a unique listing not for one piece of gear but for 12 items that make up a very cool and complete keys rig. This package is ideal for the new studio build or expansion that wants to skip the years of search and curation and simply buy a killer plug-and-play rig, that fits seamlessly into any keys environment. I just don't use it as much as it deserves so... it's yours! Vintage Camera collection and Bi-nueral Earl in pics not included ;)

This unique wiring of the Mackie submixer system this listing includes and the innate studio forward design will leave everyone that walks into your studio inspired to create. While great for live application, I designed this rig to be used as the core system for keys in a studio's live room, hence the submixer, effects and switching possibilities.

COMPLETE PACKAGE INCLUDES:
• Freshly recapped 60's Vox Continental organ with all new tolex (Serial #970337) sounds perfect

• Nine voice cards were totally rebuilt Oct 2021 by a professional tech. 2 more rebuilt in 2023
• A Leslie Rotary speaker with spinning horns and spinning sub on casters w/cables

• A versitile 150W Fender amp head w/cables and freshly conditioned tolex

• Vox SL1B multi-effect organ effects pedal with x2 TS cables and power adapter

• Modified vintage Marshall foot switch with 5-pin Din cable to control the Leslie (Hi/Lo speed & On/Off)
• Fender 4 way selector pedal w/cables to control amp settings, channels and effects

• Custom made switches and more to provide a one of a kind complete organ rig of holy grail status. All original switches and drawbars work great.
• Four brand new detachable (threaded) chrome Fender Rhodes legs
 From vintage vibe
• A 4 channel Mackie submixer power supply. This versitile creative solution allows you to also use the Leslie with other instruments and keys, or another amp OR your DAW! This is what makes this rig so convenient to track or perform live with.

The speed selector on the Leslie is so rad. There's nothing like stepping on the pedal to kick the speed up and hear the whirl next to you! I will certainly miss that. Everything works great and the highest A# has just been professionally repaired. Every single card has been cleaned (see pics). There are three effect modules, each with their own banks and systems of effects to choose from. The Submixer has a dedicated delay system with modulation controls, the Vox SL1B has dozens of killer organ intended presets and the Fender has studio-grade time based effects, distortions and amp modeling effects I use all the time. Step right into the sound of the 60's and make it your own with this creative palette of inspiration! Look at all the new capacitors in the terminal/barrier strip (last few pictures). You can see how much work has been done on this unit and I've spent thousands just bringing it back to life.
Below is the more verbose & detailed version of this listing:

PACKAGE DETAILS:

The organ was just re-tolexed this year and came out great. Very smooth.
New 8 channel keyboard submixer will be very helpful to you in sending all your equipment in the "Keys area" of your studio to the Daw or amps. The included Submixer is new and has volume trim for each channel and a funky little delay system with time and repeat control that actually sounds awesome.

Also included is a brand new Vox volume pedal which is the way most guys like to play these things, as well as a crybaby Wah pedal. Look up guys using volume to play the continental to see an example.

Also included is a killer 150W Fender Mustang head to power the cab. This amplifier is just a beast and everyone that hears it is blown away at how good it actually is. It’s one of the guitarists and Keyboardist great secret weapons. The head is extremely feature rich and does too much for me to list here but it’s very versatile and fun to use and has some awesome reverb and trem.

I'm throwing in three brand new unbalanced TS instrument cables and a TS planet waves patch cable for the pedals, two power supplies and a speaker cable for the Fender head to the Leslie cabinet. A bunch of other cables you'll need to.

And finally, to complete this massive rig, is a Fender MS4 four button metal foot switch controller with LED screen, three mode operating system, patch scroll buttons, and a button that’s assignable to add affects right at your feet for whatever you want. I love you can actually save effect, tone and volume settings for each song and flip through them as you perform! The onboard effects are surprisingly studio grade too. I’d use them on absolutely any recording project confidently even though the Vox pedal is designed specifically for organ sounds… so the Vox pedal will most likely be your go to when you want a completely different sound out of the organ. It does ripping distorted lead all the way to space echo delays and tonescapes. But yea, lots of options for infinite soundscapes and inspiration for eons!

I created this listing to find the right owner for this rig since I just don’t use enough anymore. I’ve gravitated more towards soft synth these days and need a new Waldorf (trades welcome!). Through trial and error, it took me 2 years to actively research the perfect rig, curate and assemble what I believe is the ultimate, 60s rock organ rig. This is everything you need to plug in and play with an infinite amount of inspirational tools at your fingertips (and feet). Essentially you have the best of both worlds; modern technology and digital emulation, or you can dial it all the way back to that pure analog Doors-y tube driven signal. Two good mics on either side this Leslie is amazing to behold on tape. Ray Manzarek would have torn this rig up all day.

IN THE STUDIO: Although it’s great live, I especially designed this rig for the recording studio. In our studio I put this rig's submixer outs through my 1/4” machines and space echos and basically had an organ-asm. The Leslie is clean and warm and well defined. Its' amplifier is all analog and produces an incredibly round and mid forward tone I just love, like the old jazz records I grew up on. Put an RE20 on each side and you’ve got the sound. Organ tolex was all redone in 2021. All new badges and small parts replaced where needed such as gold "vox" badge on front and continental rectangular badge on back (as shown). The insides were recently serviced before I got it 4 years ago. All of the keys work, however, typical with these old things, a few of the drawbar settings need a capacitor or two to play all 5 tones on all keys, not that you ever really use 5 at the same time on every drawbar, otherwise it works perfectly and all the keys work and sound great anyway. This is typical maintenance needed of an old machine and it was just gone through recently so it gives you an idea of the maintenance required with vintage keys like this no matter whatever you end up buying.

Onboard Vibrato sounds great too, on and off switch bulb flickers like an old Christmas tree light, it's cool I love it, it's one of my fav things about the look of this board. The legs have been upgraded to $300 Fender Rhodes style screw in legs, brand new. I find these more stable and usable then the Z stands that require an entire hardshell suitcase to carry around. These can now unscrew from their base and travel in a small bag if need be. The original parts I’ve replaced are all included in a ziplock such as old hinges, badges and such and are included. The metal badge with serial was just removed to re-tolex the organ (shown in the pics) but is back on now. I have a black plastic key cap that needs to be glued onto the painted wooden one in the middle as shown. You may not have even noticed but one keys black plastic cover needs to be glued back. I have a replacement key I'll include so no worries.

SHIPPING:
If I ship this massive rig, it is sold as-is. I will ship anywhere in the US however I am hesitant of shipping this entire rig so obviously pick up in the New York City and Northern New Jersey area is greatly preferred. Please note that whenever I sell a vintage tape machine, antique console or something as delicate as these extra-large items, I offer no guarantees whatsoever and no returns so it is the buyers responsibility to either pay for extra insurance or pick them up directly (free delivery if you're near me!). I can FaceTime with you now and show you that everything works beautifully but when I put it in a box and put tape on it and it goes bouncing around in the back of a truck across the country, all sales are final, thanks. I can also offer free delivery in the tr-state northeastern area or will help you load it if you can make it here.

Message me if you have any questions, want to talk shop or trade. I'm happy to chat about anything. Thanks for looking and make sure to check out the rest of the gear in my shop ~ J
